Survived

Yesterday was my first lesson in Relief Society. I was extremely nervous but all went really well. I know Heavenly Father was helping me through because after two or three minutes the knees stopped knocking and the shaking subsided. I sure appreciated the input from the ladies in our ward. Now though, Bryan and I will be speaking in church on Sunday. Thought I was good for a month. Nerves are setting in again.

Look at them now!!

If you thought my iceplant was beautiful before, look at it now. I am amazed each day I look out my window and see this beauty. I can thank my sister Wendy for turning me onto this.

The fruits of our labors.

Here are some pictures of our yard that we worked so hard on last year. This is iceplant on the wall. We love how it overhangs and the two colors of pink. Heavenly.

The cat grew!!

The following are pictures of one of the kittens we fostered in the fall. The first picture is of Stormy around Christmas time. The Osburn's, our neighbors, adopted him and the next picture is of him last Sunday, April 18th. They let the kids take him every now and then to play with so they don't complain about not having our own. It is great. My how he's grown and his eyes totally changed color. Weird.

Tate turns 6!!!!

On Monday this week, April 19th, Tate turned 6. He is one wild and crazy dude. He is progressing so well in Kindergarten and is so fun and sweet to have around (most of the time). Here he is at 5-1/2 years and at about 2-3 months of age.

Tate had a small party with three of his friends: Emma, Peter and Jaren. He chose a "Dinosaur Dig" cake and wanted to play: Duck, Duck, Goose on the trampoline, jump on the trampoline and do freeze dance. We did those things and a couple other. I think they had a good time.

Gavin is 14 today!!!!

Gavin is 14 today!!!! It is hard to believe that I have a son that old. Time has gone awfully fast. I am very proud of this boy. He is extremely intelligent although he can be lazy with some of his homework but he does a really good job in school. I've been impressed with how seriously he takes his role as a priesthood holder. He is well on his way to becoming a great missionary.
